It seems last year, after staying relatively off the catwalk radar, in terms ripping the runway around the country- we’ve come back at it for 2017 with a vengeance!
Making an appearance at some of the best fashion events on the circuit with one thing in mind; getting our name back out there- again! 2017 marks the first full year of the line, as Dolls of Decadence since the name change and what better way to curate some new contacts, re-establish old ones and show off what we’d been holed up in HQ working on. All whilst creating as many social media impressions for the line, as possible than through some hardcore fashion networking.
There she is! Our creative director Paulinah matching our swim collection with the rainbow ensemble- the TEPHRA mini dress.
We started early this year in March, with a return to Liverpool for an intimate affair at the ‘Ladies who lunch fashion and networking’ showcase. Fast forward to last month- June; to what we could describe as Birmingham’s very own ‘unofficial’ fashion weekend. We were in full throttle with 3 fashion events over 3 days under our belt from 23-25th June and we’ll be blogging about the whole weekend, with so much content to share!!

Saturday 24th June saw us for the first time ever showcasing swimwear only at an event; the Private Liaison showcase, as part of Birmingham Fashion Festival. Which took place took place across 5 days at various locations across the city’s centre, coinciding with other unrelated catwalk events including the Headz up in Business: fashion and business event and the Elite Fashion Show in association with Global connect, both of which we had the privilege of being part of. More to come on those two event,in further blog additions.

The Private Liaison showcase took place at Canalside Birmingham- part of the Sophisticated Mailbox complex- a modern venue with floor to ceiling windows which opened up to picturesque views of the Birmingham canal-hence its name, obvs.
We wanted to keep our segement, fun and flirty and opted for an array of swim pieces in all the colours of the rainbow, from past, present and new ranges; teaming the looks with hats, sunnies, cover ups and scarves…basically everything we could find to give the looks some character and attitude!
We’ve complied the images of us from the day for you! Enjoy xo
