Whoopsie-daisy, did we state at the beginning of this year, that we were not going to particpate in any fashion shows, exhibitions or showcases? We did, didn’t we.
Well, despite making this declaration, we’ve some how managed to get involved in a few here and there. With the Wonderful Worcestershire Women (WWW) dining and fashion showcase, only being our second for the year. Trust us, when we say ‘only’, there is good reason for it.
The Wonderful Worcestershire womens awards dining and fashion showcase took place on Thursday 13th October 2016 at the stunning venue Browns at The Quays conference and fine dining restaurant; set on the beautiful and tranquil setting of the river Severn’s south Quay, a stone throw from the hectic city life.
A charity event organised by Sarah Mayo-Evans and Julia Williams , who not only gave a handful of selected independent designers/boutiques, including ourselves a great platform to present our work, the event also raised money for Sight concern Worcestershire.

Oh what a fabulous evening, we had! We felt really well looked after throughout the run up and during the event and must say felt quite privileged to be included in the event.

Julia and Sarah, first saw our work at the International Womens week: Headz up Business event -which had taken place earlier in the year- and following a few tweets between ourselves and WWW, a few emails, follows and follow backs on Twitter we were invited to get involved in their event. With Julia even stating, after seeing our work:
‘We were her favourite designers at the Headz up business fashion and networking event, showcasing something different and unique from others brands. We had made her journey from Worcester to Birmingham even more worth while, making her perk up when our collection, sashayed down the run way.’
Nay too shabby. Comments like that do leave us feeling gasssed!
It was nice to introduce our work to another new audience and the response to the line was great. Check out some of pictures from the nights event.
Thank you WWW for having us, we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity!
