Earlier this month, we indirectly and unofficially took part in the 10th anniversary of the TOP MODEL UK competition, thanks to the beauty that is Gia Lawrence-Harish- a local rising starlet and model based in the Midlands- who donned a custom variation of our HONOR hooded bodysuit on the runway, for the finals of the Top Model competition. Which took place at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel over 2 days; supporting
the CHILDREN with CANCER UK charity for whom they raised over £37, 500 for the charity, over the course of the Top model 2018 campaign. It is the leading UK and Worldwide model search competition, fashion and awards event- launched in 2006.

We sponsored Gia for the swimwear/lingerie round, obviously….cos, you know swimwear be our thing! Supplying her with our handcrafted bepsoke HONOR sequin hooded bodysuit in deep red, which she teamed with thigh grazing gladiator strapped boots, (Believe it or not, that’s actually what they) completing her runway look with a super cute fluffy backpack.
And, guess what- her outfit only went and fricking won her the award for ‘best personal style’ landing her in local press The Express and star! Result. Plus, we even got our own credit and mention for our involvement in the process. Like SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! This is the stuff small independent labels live for- their work making a mark within the industry and we could not be more pleased!

An absolute MASSIVE well done to Gia on her win; beating the hundreds of models who applied to pick up an award in competition that spans worldwide- talk about making your mark.

Top Model has a proven track record of discovering new model talent, launching careers and creating dreams. Many of our finalists and winners have signed with agencies, worked as professional models, been published internationally, travelled internationally and walked at London Fashion Week and we wish Gia continued sucess and all the best with her fashion journey.
